The German company Wilbert was recently acquired by the Chinese multinational Zoomlion. Wilbert has recently created a new generation of flat-top tower cranes with the e.tronic electronic control system. The new range starts with the 8-tonne WT 180 e.tronic model and ends with the 32-tonne WT 720 e.tronic.
The WT 205L e.tronic uses components from series production of renowned global manufacturers. The crane can be configured depending on specific tasks and operating conditions.
The current crane configuration parameters are entered into the e.tronic control program. All operating characteristics and fault data can be retrieved via a personal computer equipped with a modem and the appropriate software. In the comfortable cabin, a touch panel displays the most important crane operating parameters in the form of diagrams or text messages. Thanks to the unique modular system, the boom length can be varied from 5 to 60 m in 2.5 m increments by combining five different boom components. The crane can be compactly stored as two transport units: loading is completed in one lift.
