The Luna Equipos Industriales S.A. plant specializes in the production of lifting equipment on special and automobile chassis. The company has extensive experience in the production of cranes.
The plant was founded in 1960 by Manuel Luna, which is why the plant bears the same name. Its focus at that time was repair work in the field of agricultural machinery for consumer goods. After two years of operation, the plant began to specialize in the production of crane equipment.
The plant is very large, it is located on 160,000 square meters of territory, of which 26,000 square meters are given over to production areas.
During its entire activity, the plant has produced more than 5,000 automobile cranes with a lifting capacity of 40 to 90 tons, which effectively operate in various industries. All models of "Luna" cranes have an exclusive development of plant specialists.
Luna Equipos Industriales was the first in Europe to receive ISO 9001 quality certificate from the International Organization for Standardization in 1994. The plant also has a NATO certificate.
Luna has opened two technical development centers, one of which is designed for the design of various types of overhead cranes, and the second for the forklift project.
