Link-Belt Construction Equipment is a leader in the design, manufacture and sale of telescopic and lattice boom cranes. Headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky.
Over the past decade, Link-Belt has grown dynamically and rapidly to become one of the leaders in crane manufacturing. The main advantage of the company's cranes is their excellent control system.
The main crane manufacturing base is the Lexington plant, which occupies over 500,000 square feet. It houses the most advanced crane manufacturing equipment in North America.
The Link-Belt crane manufacturer currently offers five models of crawler telescopic cranes with lifting capacities ranging from 50 to 230 tons. They have four-, five-, six- and seven-section booms, with a maximum reach of 33.8 meters for a 50-ton crane to 68 meters for a 230-ton machine. The boom length in the retracted state ranges from 10.8 to 13.3 meters, depending on the model. At the same time, the width of the crawler base in the transport state of the two smaller models is only 2.55 meters.
Link-Belt crawler cranes are equipped with Link-Belt Pulse - a crane control system that includes a nominal load limiter, an extension mode controller, self-diagnostics and continuous operation monitoring for several models. The operator's cabin has a color display of the system with high contrast to ensure good information perception even in direct sunlight.
In addition, Link-Belt telescopic crawler cranes are equipped with a standard hoist drum cable pusher, an additional winding indicator, safety railings and anti-slip coating on the machine tower, a rear-view camera and a winch camera.
