FM Gru is an Italian manufacturer of tower cranes. The company, which originated from the family business of Fuoci and Milanesi, is based in the industrial region of northern Italy Pontenure (province of Pianchesa) since the early twenties of the last century. Initially, it was engaged in the manufacture of various industrial equipment - equipment for presses, forklifts, as well as the production of welded metal structures, such as trusses for railway bridges.
Since the sixties of the twentieth century, the company begins to develop a new direction - the production of lifting equipment, and by the end of the decade this direction becomes its main one. At the moment, it has an extensive dealer network in most developed countries of the world. During its existence, the company has produced more than twenty-one thousand tower cranes.
Specializes in the production of tower cranes:
1. Anchor quick-erecting cranes of the CTY (City) series, designed for civil construction. They belong to the class of modular city cranes with a boom reach from 35 m to 52 m. They are assembled using a truck crane. Cranes of this series are currently out of production and replaced by the TLX series.
2. TLX series topless cranes, designed for point construction. The design does not provide for boom and head support braces. Safety class - A4.
3. TCK series top-slewing anchor cranes, designed for the construction of buildings and structures up to 200 m high. Structurally, they have a traditional head and boom and head braces. Safety class - A4 according to FEM 1.001.
4. RBI series light hydraulic quick-erecting cranes, designed for the construction of buildings up to 6 storeys high. Safety class - A4.
5. S series cranes, designed for large infrastructure projects or factories.
6. LK series boom cranes, designed for confined spaces and the construction of high buildings and structures.
