Favelle Favco Group is a Malaysian manufacturer of lifting equipment, founded in 1923. The company's headquarters are located in Klang, Malaysia.
FAVELLE FAVCO Activities In 1923, Favelle & Cole was founded in Australia, which was renamed Favelle Mort in 1955. Already in 1962, Favelle Mort began producing its own cranes, delivering 8 cranes to the construction site of the World Trade Center in Manhattan in 1968.
In 1975, as a result of the takeover by the Aquila group, it was renamed Aquila Favco Cranes.
In 1980, one of the owners founded EH Favelle Cranes, which received its final name Favelle Favco.
In 1995, the company became part of the Malaysian concern Muhibbah Engineering.
In 1997, Favelle Favco acquired the Danish crane company Krøll Cranes A/S, and in 1998 received the order to build the headquarters of the Malaysian oil giant Petronas, the twin towers which until recently were the tallest buildings in the world. The group employs around 700 people worldwide at four production facilities.
